Description:
How to save a draft and resume it later.
Prerequisites:
- You must have started a New Project Request (see B-02).
Steps:
- At any point in the journey, select "Save and Exit" to save your draft.
- This will trigger a ‘Submit New Project Request’ Task which can be found on your tasks page.
- To resume, go to the projects page and open the draft (it shows with a status of In Draft) OR go to the tasks page and select the relative ‘Submit New Project Request’ task
- Continue completing the New Project Request questions.

Tips and best practice:
- Save drafts regularly if you're gathering information from multiple stakeholders.
- Drafts have 90 working days before becoming overdue.
What happens next:
- A task is generated reminding you to complete and submit the New Project Request.
- The draft becomes visible on the projects page and can be reopened at any time.
- Stakeholders added during the draft stage can view the draft.
